Calling all nature lovers! 

Join fellow outdoor enthusiasts at the DMACC Boone Campus to explore, discover and preserve the beauty of the outdoors. Whether you're a seasoned hiker, wildlife enthusias, or aspiring photographer, this club is for YOU!

We'll embark on nature hunts through Ledges State Park, capturing the wonders of the wild with our cameras. Immerse yourself in the vibrant fall foliage, reconnect with nature and keep your eyes peeled for incredible wildlife sightings. We might encounter eagles soaring overhead, herons stalking fish, hawks, deer and more!

Mark your calendars! We'll be meeting at Lower Ledges State Park from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the following dates:

Join us for FREE donuts and fidget toys and learn how to stress less during a special "Donut Stress" Midterm Event from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wed., Oct. 9th, in the Courter Center at the Boone Campus! This event is being sponsored by the DMACC Boone Campus Student Activities Council and DMACC Boone Campus Student Health & Wellness.

Oct. 10th: Latine & Hispanic Heritage Event at Boone Campus

In celebration of Latine & Hispanic Heritage Month, the DMACC Boone Campus Student Activities Council and the DMACC Boone Campus Library will host a Latine & Hispanic Heritage Event from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Thur., Oct. 10th, in the Courter Center at the Boone Campus.​​ Join us to play Kahoot! trivia, virtually tour the National Museum of the American Latino​, and try churros, a popular treat throughout Spain, Mexico, and Latin America!

Oct. 15th: Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Boone Campus

DMACC Boone Campus Student Health & Wellness and the DMACC Boone Campus Student Activities Council (SAC) will host a Breast Cancer Awareness Event from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 15th, in the Courter Center at the Boone Campus

Students who stop by will have the opportunity to learn more about breast cancer prevention and detection and talk with breast cancer survivors. Plus, FREE #PinkOut T-shirts will be available, along with pink cupcakes, drinks and gifts!

DMACC Bears, be sure to #WearPink and #GetYourPinkOn for the DMACC Volleyball Pink-Out for Breast Cancer Awareness Game at 7 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 15th, in the Den at the Boone Campus as the DMACC Volleyball team​ hosts Hawkeye Community College!

Plus, you can prep for the game by stopping by our Breast Cancer Awareness Even​t any time between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. earlier that same day in the Courter Center at the Boone Campus, where students will be able to pick up a FREE #PinkOut T-shirt!
