DMACC TRIO-Student Support Services is funded to serve 220 select DMACC students. In order to be eligible for TRIO-Student Support Services, a student must be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, or meet the residency requirements for Federal student financial assistance and meet
ONE of the following criteria:
First generation college student

Neither parent received a 4-year college degree or
-
The primary supportive parent did not receive a 4-year college degree, if student regularly resided with and received support from only one parent
Meet low-income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
The term “low-income individual” means an individual whose family’s income for the preceding year did not exceed 150% of the poverty level amount. Please refer to the
U.S Department of Education’s Office of Postsecondary Education website for income guidelines.
Possess a documented physical or learning disability
Eligibility status will be granted based on proper documentation of disability. Students who seek academic accommodations should complete an
online application for accommodation.
