Adding Captions to Your Videos

​DMACC is committed to ensuring accessibility for all students. Accessibility includes videos used for educational purposes. When selecting educational videos please verify the video is captioned. Before purchasing a DVD, please make sure it includes captions. If the video does not have captions, you will need to provide a text-alternative transcript.

Please see the links provided below regarding online videos and adding captions should you be creating videos. Videos in YouTube and Kaltura are automatically machine captioned, but you will still need to edit the captions for accuracy.
