Attention ISU Students

DMACC Ames Hunziker Center offers several ways to earn credits you can transfer to Iowa State University. Located near the intersection of Interstate 35 and U.S. Highway 30, The center is only 15 minutes from Iowa State's campus on the CyRide EASE Route.

Transferable Courses

DMACC now offers over 40 classes in more than 20 disciplines at the Ames Hunziker Center. These courses are transferable and offered at convenient times in the afternoons and evenings. With classes no larger than 30 students, instructors are able to provide quality one-on-one instruction, which enables you to achieve your academic goals.

Take a DMACC Class at No Additional Cost

If you are a full-time Iowa State student who

  • has completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of 100 level courses (excluding the English 101 series) and
  • are in good academic standing (2.00 or better cumulative grade point average and not on academic probation at ISU),

you are eligible to participate in the Cross Enrollment Program. This program allows 50 ISU students to enroll in a DMACC course once an academic year at no additional cost provided you are registered as a full-time student at Iowa State and meet the eligibility criteria.

DMACC/ISU Partnership Program

DMACC is proud to partner with Iowa State University through the Admissions Partnership Program (APP). This program allows students to begin their academic career at one of DMACC's six campuses prior to transferring to Iowa State. Lea​rn more about this program.
