Dan has been teaching for DMACC since 2005. He teaches Reading, Writing, English Language Learner (ELL) and Study Strategies courses. He offers various workshops throughout the semester to help improve writing skills and usage of study strategies. You can also find Dan working with students in the walk-in Writing Lab.

Janelle Thornton

Janelle worked as an adjunct instructor in the English department for five years before joining the full time faculty in the walk-in Writing Lab in 2020. She teaches Study Strategies and the occasional English course but has previously taught many Composition, Literature, and Creative Writing courses and can assist with a diverse range of reading and writing assignments.

Marshall Stuart

Marshall taught as an adjunct math instructor for DMACC for three years before joining our full-time faculty in 2015. He has taught the entire spectrum of Mathematics course at DMACC, typically focusing of Statistics and advanced Calculus courses.

Rob taught as an adjunct math instructor for DMACC for six years before joining our full-time faculty in 2012. He has taught Calculus, Business Calculus, Math for Liberal Arts, Finite Math, College Algebra, and Intermediate Algebra, He is also experienced in helping students with Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, and Statistics.

Stacy has been teaching biology for DMACC since 2007. She currently teaches General Biology (BIO112), Genetics (BIO146) and Human Biology (BIO 157) in addition to helping students in anatomy, physiology, microbiology, introductory biology, nutrition and general biology II.
