Area employers need skilled technicians to repair and maintain gas and diesel power equipment like:
- Motorcycles
- Snowblowers
- Lawn tractors
- Golf and turf mowers
- ATVs and UTVs
- Chainsaws and generators
- Diesel-powered equipment such as mini-excavators, forklifts, skid steers, and wheel loaders
- And many more. . . .
Program Highlights

Gain hands-on power equipment technology experience in the classroom and lab.

Electric systems, hydraulics, fuels, and powertrains

Gasoline and diesel equipment, including residential and powersports, as well as commercial and light construction equipment

Apply your knowledge during paid internships (apprenticeships) working in Central Iowa dealerships and service facilities.

Earn an AAS (Associate of Applied Science Degree) degree in as few as 5 terms (21 months).
Location and Start Date

Hands-on technical courses are taught at the CITECenter, located on the Central Iowa Expo Farm Progress Grounds, 4 miles east of Boone just off Hwy 30.

General education classes are taught face-to-face on the Boone Campus.
