Drug Pronunciation Videos

Welcome to our free Drug Pronunciation Videos to support Memorizing Pharmacology a Relaxed Approach. We needed a safe place to find pharmacist-spoken drug pronunciations without ads, sign ups, or cost. This audio list began with only 300 drugs. Now, we accept medication video requests from all any fields (e.g., dental hygiene). Just tweet your pronunciation request to Tony_PharmD with the medication names or email me at aaguerra@dmacc.edu from a .edu email address, and we’ll put the medications on the list with a free video.

The links below take you to a 15-20 second YouTube video of 1) the drug’s generic and brand pronunciation 2) the drug used in a sentence, and 3) the generic name pronounced again. Please comment if you feel there is a mispronunciation, error, or a regional pronunciation we could benefit from. I can easily correct / augment any of these videos in a few minutes and why we used YouTube as a vehicle.

Special thanks to the dental hygienist students of DHY 133: Pharmacology, summer 2016 for their help on this important project.
