STEEL QUALITY! For the purchase of hand tools is a major consideration. High quality steel will do a better job, stay sharper longer and will take no longer to sharpen than poor quality tools. There are many good brands. A few of them are Bosch, Stanley, Craftsman, Plumb, Disston, Sandvik, Miller Falls, and Estwing

4. *Quality tape measure, minimum 25 -30 feet. No metric.
5. *Speed square, not plastic. (Swanson brand)
6. *Quality framing hammer, 20 ounces or more.
7. *Chalkbox. (Chalkline) We have a supply of chalk.
8. Quality Tool belt with steel hammer loop and @ 5 pockets.
9. Quality torpedo level. (Bullet)
10. Good utility knife with blades.
11. Cat’s paw pry bar.
12. Screw drivers, Phillips head and straight blade.
13. Pliers or multi-tool.
14. Chisel, 3/4” wide with solid metal tang.
15. Small combination square, under 6” in length.
16. Nail set, 2/32”.
17. Hand scribe. (See me)
18. Hardhat used during our house builds.
19. Aviation style snips. (Tin Snips)
20. Block plane, low angle.
You will be required to wear your tool belt with these items on jobsites.
