Welcome to the Bistro classroom at the Iowa Culinary Institute!
Beginning Wednesday, September 13, the Bistro is open for lunch each Wednesday through Friday, from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Closing date for the fall semester is Friday, December 8. We appreciate your support of the Iowa Culinary Institute and our students and we look forward to seeing you soon!
We offer classic bistro fare from around the globe, curated and executed by our students and staff.
- Reservations are required. Preferred method of communication is icibistro@dmacc.edu, or you may call 515-964-6369 and leave a voicemail. Please provide the following information:
- Your requested reservation date and time
- First and last name
- Number of people in your party
- Phone number
- We are not accepting reservations on the following dates that the Bistro will be closed:
- Wednesday, October 18, 2023
- Friday, October 27, 2023
- Wednesday-Friday, November 22-24, 2023
- Reservations for parties larger than 8 people will be seated at tables of eight in the Lakeview Dining Room and service will be staggered by 10 minutes between tables.
- Cost – $15 per person with your choice of the buffet or the à la carte menu. Please watch the Bistro website for menus and buffet themes.
- Weekly Buffet – Soups, Salads, Entrées, Sides, Dessert, and Beverage
- Bistro À la Carte Menu – Starter, Entrée, Dessert, and Beverage
