DMACC Received 44 Grants in 2020 totaling $9.95 million. Facebook Classes 96 Students Enrolled. Facebook and Digital Marketing Essentials Certificate, Facebook Advertising and Email Marketing, All held online  
2020 Milestones. Dontated 6,000 N94 Masks to a local low-income serving metro hospital. Repurposed welding gear as facemasks for a rual hospital when personal protective equipment was in short supply. Guaranteed students would receive a full no-questions-asked refund if classes were canceled due to COVID-19. Declared our Urban Campus the 1st majority-minority college or university campus in the state of Iowa. Received a $1 million gift to create a new 2+2 with a major Iowa University. 
 

 
DMACC Helping Businesses. DBR (FY 2020). 4,561 Number of Iowa workers trainied. 237 Projects under the Iowa Industrial New Jobs Training Program (260E) for current employees,. 25 Projects under the Iowa Industrial new Jobs Traiing Program (260F) for new employees. 142 private contracts managed. 26 Projects under the Workforce Training and Economic Development (WTED) program to train unemployed and underemployed Iowans for high-demand occupations. $7,500,000 Issued in 260E bonds for 22 Companies Pledging 600 New Jobs. Number of Companies with ACE projects: 44 Sponsoring more than 824 positions.
