Templeton Regional Center

​​The DMACC Templeton Regional Center, part of the DMACC Carroll Campus, offers career academies and general education courses.

Designed for high school students, the Center helps them acquire skills needed for in-demand occupations and sets them up to earn an Associate’s degree or transfer to a 4-year institution.


Exploratory Career Academy

Year 1: 
Students explore a range of skilled trades like welding, advanced manufacturing, maintenance, electrical tech, and construction trades through coursework, guest speakers, job site visits, hands-on learning, and work-based learning.

This track helps students jumpstart a career in healthcare – either immediately after high school or through pursuing a 2- or 4-year-degree. Students can earn a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Advanced CNA certificate and satisfy most requirements for entry into DMACC’s nursing program.
