Description: This course will help Wastewater Operators overcome any math challenges and improve their wastewater math skills. This course is for entry-level and current grade I or IIoperators. It covers the ABC Formula/Conversion Table, math basics, units, conversions, solving word problems, calculations, and much more. This course will prepare the student for the certification exam.

Description: This 30-hour Wastewater Collections course provides an evaluation of theory and knowledge as it applies to wastewater collection systems. Competencies covered include the duties of an operator, evaluation of raw wastewater sources, explanation of the operation, maintenance, and restoration of wastewater collection systems. Also discussed will be the administrative procedure for wastewater collection systems. Textbooks and class materials provided.

30 Hr Water Treatment Basics

Description: This 30-hour training course provides a foundation and builds on knowledge about water sources and characteristics. This class & 6 months experience satisfies DNR Grade I Water Treatment eligibility. This class is for entry-level and current grade I or II operators.

Description: This is a great supplement to the 30-hour Basic Water Treatment class. The class is designed to introduce new water operators to the basic fundamentals of pump operations and maintenance. This class will help operators preparing for the grade 1 and 2 certifications. The course will cover the different type of pumps and their specific uses, pump lubrication, & more. This class will meet for 7.5 hours, 1 day a week for 2 weeks. Wastewater Collections O&M

This course will evaluate the operation of wastewater equipment, perform maintenance procedures for collection system equipment, installation of collection equip. Other topics include evaluating the operation of wastewater collection system lift stations, and how to perform maintenance for wastewater collection system lift stations, collection system cleaning & how to restore wastewater collection systems.

Description: This course will cover water treatment lab and sampling basics. Participants will learn about the reasons and purposes of sampling, and the sampling collection process. Other topics include lab equipment and glassware, understanding limitations of test kits, and method detection limits. Participants will better understand lab management, best practices, sampling plans, and chlorine disinfection.
