DMACC Honors students would like to invite all members of the DMACC community to join them for a Local Litter Clean-Up event with Do Good Des Moines from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sun., July 21st, at MacRae Park in Des Moines! This is a great volunteer opportunity to support your community and help keep our local parks and trails clean, beautiful and safe. Volunteers will walk the designed area together to pick up litter and debris. All needed tools and supplies, including grabbers, gloves, trash bags and high-visibility vests, will be provided. Volunteers may bring their own gloves, if they prefer, and are also encouraged to bring water. To protect yourself, please wear close-toed shoes (like tennis shoes or work boots) and long pants. Weather can be unpredictable, of course, so be sure to dress accordingly! How to volunteer: If you would like to volunteer, just visit this link and enter the password "Do Good" in the password box. You will be then be able to enter your information to sign up to volunteer. There's no cost to participate and all are welcome!
