A group of 10 DMACC students recently represented the College at the 2024 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference, which was held June 24th-27th in Orlando, Fla. They were accompanied by DMACC FLBA advisors Joe Hanson and Susan McCoy.
Students earned the opportunity to compete at the national level by placing 1st or 2nd in their respective event(s) during the Iowa FBLA State Leadership Conference held earlier this year. During the National Leadership conference, qualifying college students from across the United States competed in various business-related events. Students also had the opportunity to attend a variety of workshops on topics related to their educational and career pursuits. Pictured above are the participating DMACC students and their advisors:
