The annual DMACC CEO Golf Tournament is the DMACC Foundation’s largest scholarship fundraiser. The tournament has been held at Albaugh’s private golf course, which is located on the grounds of Albaugh LLC's worldwide headquarters in Ankeny, every year since 2007.

“We’ve raised more than $5.5 million for student scholarships since Dennis started hosting this important fundraising event for us in 2007,” said DMACC President Rob Denson. “There is clear evidence that the support this scholarship event provides for students makes a difference in their ability to stay in college and graduate into a better job or to further their education.

“We’re very grateful for Dennis’ generous support, not only with this important golf tournament each year, the many philanthropic contributions he’s made across the College. His impact will be felt for generations to come.”

Denson highlighted Albaugh’s most recent $1 million donation for the new DMACC Transportation Institute, which is currently under construction, as just one example of his support and belief in DMACC.

The DMACC Foundation is currently accepting scholarship applications for the 2024-2025 academic year, which includes the fall 2024, spring 2025 and summer 2025 terms. Students only need to fill out one general application to be considered for a wide variety of scholarships. Based on their completed application, the DMACC Foundation will match each applicant with any scholarships for which they are qualified. The deadline to apply is July 15th.
