Once again, the DMACC Libraries are excited to offer the "One Book, One College, One Community" program for the 2024-25 academic year. This year's featured book is "This I Believe: The Personal Philosophies of Remarkable Men and Women" edited by Jay Allison and Dan Gediman. Here is some important information about the program:
Cost: Copies of the book are FREE for faculty and students who are using the book as part of the curriculum.
Request a preview copy: Faculty may request a preview copy of the book for adoption consideration. To request a preview copy, please contact your campus library or email Rebecca Funke at rsfunke@dmacc.edu. Preview copies are available now.
Request student copies: Faculty may request copies of the book for students to use in their DMACC course(s). This program is available to all credit-bearing classes, regardless of modality or location. The deadline to request student copies for the Fall 2024 semester is Aug. 7th, 2024. Support: A list of resources will be provided to faculty adopting this book. Many of these resources will available via the "One Book" section (currently under construction) on the DMACC Libraries website.
